Most people when they are out or moving, spend a lot of time using an application.
This means that smartphones are the world’s largest market. 
Probably we need to look back at the application that was trending
in 2016. In 1st place and 2nd place are Facebook and Facebook Messenger, in 3rd place is YouTube, from 4th place to 6th are applications related to Google, the position 7th is Gmail, the 8th position is for Instagram, the 9th is Apple Music, and the 10th position are others. In other words, it is unlikely to change this top 10 in 2017.
